Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Trade Symbiotic collects when you use our website and the Trade Symbiotic indicator for TradingView (together, the “Service”), why we collect it, the legal basis for doing so, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to run the Service.

1. Who is responsible for your data

TradeSymbiotic, a business registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 90052471, VAT number NL004783522B79, trading as Trade Symbiotic (“we”, “us”), is the controller of the personal data described here. For data-protection law this includes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where it applies, the UK GDPR. You can reach us about your data at any time via the contact page.

2. The data we collect

• Account data: your email address and the TradingView username you give us so we can grant access to the invite-only indicator.
• Billing data: checkout and subscriptions are handled by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record. They process your payment and any card details; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited transaction data such as your name, billing country, the last digits/type of your payment method, invoice records, and your subscription status.
• Communications: if you contact us (for example through the contact form) we receive your name, email, your message, and any optional details you add such as a TradingView username or ticker.
• Technical & usage data: when you visit the site our hosting provider processes standard request information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, for security and to deliver the site. We may add privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics on the regional consent basis set out in our Cookie Policy.
• Sandbox data: the Sandbox builds and previews alerts entirely in your browser. You save a configuration as a share-code that you copy yourself, so nothing is sent to us.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide the Service: grant and manage your indicator access and run the website. Basis: performance of a contract with you.
• To take payment and meet tax/accounting duties: billing, renewals, invoices, refunds. Basis: contract and legal obligation.
• To answer you: respond to support and pre-sales messages. Basis: contract and our legitimate interest in helping you.
• To keep the Service secure and working: prevent abuse, fraud, and outages, and diagnose problems. Basis: legitimate interest in a safe, reliable Service.
• To understand and improve usage: only if we enable analytics. Basis: in the EU/EEA/UK, consent (opt-in, withdrawable at any time); outside those regions, our legitimate interest with an opt-out, as set out in our Cookie Policy.

4. Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage as described in our Cookie Policy. The site currently uses only strictly-necessary storage. In the EU/EEA/UK any analytics or marketing technologies load only after you opt in; outside those regions they may be on by default with an opt-out. You can change your choice at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) who help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

• Payments & invoicing: our payment provider, acting as Merchant of Record, processes your payment, tax, and fraud checks under its own privacy policy.
• Hosting, delivery & security: our cloud/CDN provider hosts the site and protects it from abuse.
• Indicator access: we share the TradingView username you provide with TradingView in order to grant invite-only access. Your use of TradingView is governed by TradingView’s own terms and privacy policy.
• Email: providers that deliver transactional and support email.
• Analytics: only if and when enabled, on the regional consent basis set out in our Cookie Policy.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. 7. How long we keep it

• Account data: for as long as your subscription is active, and for a short period afterwards in case you return or to resolve disputes.
• Billing & invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires (in the Netherlands, generally seven years).
• Contact messages: for a limited period after your query is resolved, then deleted.
• Consent records: your cookie choice is kept for about twelve months, then we ask again.
• Security logs: kept only briefly for protection and diagnostics.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the law, you have the right to: access a copy of your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to certain processing; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). We do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated means.

To exercise any right, reach us via the contact page. We may need to verify your identity, and we aim to respond within one month. If you believe we have mishandled your data you can complain to a supervisory authority: in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the data-protection authority where you live or work.

9. How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted providers, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for, anyone below the legal age to enter a binding contract in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. We will update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
